4 Natural ways to look good without Makeup

Makeup is a woman’s best friend. It exists to brighten your day, boost your ego, and make you feel confident on days when you otherwise choose to hide inside far from sight.
Without makeup, most women feel naked and vulnerable. With all the calling to be real and confidently beautiful, how can women look good without makeup naturally?
Here a list of tips from the experts and beauty gurus to archive how to look good naturally without makeup. Follow this rules

  • The Golden Rule

Every single time you wash your face, follow it up with a moisturiser and a sunscreen before you leave the house. “If you have marks on your skin, mix lacto calamine lotion with your sunscreen. Along with fading away blemishes, it also helps treat acne and dry skin”, suggests Dr. V. P. Kaushik, a Delhi-based Dermatologist. If you are prone to pimples, use a non-oily moisturiser and if you have dry skin, opt for heavier moisturisers containing coconut or shea butter

  • Exfoliation is the Key

“At least once a week, exfoliate to remove dead skin cells, leaving your face with that glow you’ve alwayswanted”, recommends Dr. Rahul Nagar, Dermatologist, Max Hospitals. Never scrub too hard, because it leaves the skin feeling irritated. If you don’t possess an exfoliator, just add granulated sugar to your cleanser and scrub gently to get smooth skin. It works wonder

  • Drink your morning cup of hot… water?

I love me a nice cup of tea to start the morning, but lately I have been making the switch to plain old hot water with lemon.

Yes, it sounds boring, but incorporating a cup of hot water and lemon is one of the best things you could do for yourself in the morning. Not only does it help to wake up your senses but it flushes and purifies your body of toxins, while also reducing your chance of future skin sensitivities.
Besides, water hydrates your body, which keeps your skin supple so you can rock that dewy glow… without having to apply highlighter to get the same effect.

  • Keep hands off.

We all catch ourselves doing it – resting your chin in your hand, popping pimples, rubbing your eyes or massaging your forehead. And you know what? It’s hurting your skin.
Since the skin on our face is the most delicate on our body, it is easily damaged, stretched, and torn.
Each time you rub your eyes. Each time you tug at your skin. Each time you rest of face on your hand. Each time you scratch your face or pick at your skin or pop pimples, you are causing micro-tears in your skin.
These micro-tears eventually lead to future wrinkles, and what’s more, they can also cause a gradual degradation of your skin.
Moral of the story?
Keep your hands off your face. Enough said.

Now they have even been linked to healing diabetes.

    1. Skin & Aging
This past July, researchers from Mexico uncovered that chia seeds had a total natural phenolic (antioxidants) concentration nearly two times higher than previously reported, and the antioxidant activity was shown to stop up to 70% of free radical activity. (2)
Essentially proving that chia seeds are one of nature’s riches antioxidants. Antioxidants speed up the skin’s repair systems, and prevent further damage. Taking chia seeds can prevent premature skin aging due to inflammation free radical damage.

    2. Digestive Health

Chia is super-high in fiber, providing nearly 11 grams per ounce. One serving can provide the recommended fiber intake for the day, according to the American Dietetic Association.
Fiber is essential for your body’s ability to balance insulin levels.  According to the National Institute of Health, seeds like flax and chia can be a natural blood sugar balancer due to it’s fiber

    3. Content and healthy fats.

Being high in dietary fiber, chia helps promote bowel regularity and healthy stool. The rich fiber content in chia seeds also helps people feel more full quicker because it absorbs a considerable amount of water and immediately expands in the stomach when eaten. (3) This may explain why clinical studies have proven that chia curbs hunger and suppresses appetite, which can also lead to weight loss. (4)
Also when consumed, chia seeds create a gelatin-like substance in the stomach.  This gel-forming action is due to the soluble fiber in chia seeds and it can work as a prebiotic supporting the growth of probiotics in the gut.
    4. Heart Health
Chia seeds’ ability to reverse inflammation, regulate cholesterol and lower blood pressure make it extremely beneficial to consume for heart health. (5) Also, by reversing oxidative stress, someone is less likely to develop atherosclerosis when they’re regularly consuming chia seeds.
Chia seeds are high in linoleic, a fatty acid which helps the body absorb fat-soluble vitamins A, D, E and K.  For such a tiny seed, chia is quite high in healthy fats boasting more Omega-3 fatty acids than salmon. Omega-3s work to protect the heart by lowering blood pressure, bad cholesterol, and inflammation. Inflammation can put strain on blood vessels and cause heart disease. So by eating chia seeds you can boost and protect your heart thanks to the omega-3s!

Chia seeds are rich in alpha lineic acid (or ALA) which is an Omega-3 fatty acid. Recently in 2013, the Journal of Molecular Biochemistry found that ALA limited the growth of cancer cells in both breast and cervical cancers.

They also found that it caused cell death of the cancer cells without harming the normal healthy cells.  While more research still needs to be done to find out the deeper implications of ALA on other types of cancer, this is a great discovery for women struggling with these increasingly common types of cancer.
Occasionally some people may experience stomach discomfort when consuming chia seeds especially in large amounts due to the high fiber content. As with any food, eat in moderation and always drink plenty of water unless soaking your see.

    The truth about Soy Milk

Soy milk is a liquid made from ground cooked soybeans that is usually fortified (with calcium and vitamins) and used as a milk substitute.

For long time soy milk have been used as a milk substitute. Some lactose intolerant people drink it because they want a milk substitute. Some health-conscious people drink it because they think it is the “heart-healthy low fat option.” And some vegans drink it because they don’t want to drink cow milk.

Soy is definitely one of the most controversial foods in the world. Depending on who you ask, it is either a wonderful superfood or a hormone disrupting poison.

But why all this controverse about Soy ?

Over 90% of soy produced in the U.S. is genetically modified and the crops are sprayed with the herbicides, which may be associated with adverse effects on health.

    What about Soy milk?

Almost every ingredient in soy milk  is cause for serious concern. Here are the ingredients in most of the Soy milk brands

Soy milk (Filtered Water, Whole Soybeans), Cane Sugar, Sea Salt, Carrageenan, Natural Flavor, Calcium Carbonate, Vitamin A, Palmitate, Vitamin D2, Riboflavin (B2), Vitamin B12.

    Carrageenan

This seaweeds based additive is extremely inflammatory is so caustic to the digestive tract. The world health organization classifies one type of carregenan as a possible human carcinogen.

    Vitamin D2

Vitamin D2 is a synthetic and isolated form of the vitamin D and, as a result, is extremely poorly absorbed.

    Vitamin A

The vitamin A added to soy milk (and other non-dairy milks) is synthetic and, as a result, lacks the vitamin co-factors. Remember, your vitamin is only helpful if accompanied by its co-factors.

    Natural flavors

“Natural flavors” can even mean various additives, even forms of MSG and artificial sweeteners.

In conclusion Non Dairy milk are good alternative for vegetarian and lactose intolerant people but we have to be careful about the ingredients. Always check the labels

I personally recommend avoid Soy milk for the reason that I expose in this post, and always look for unsweetened varieties of almond milk, coconut milk, oat milk between others.

It’s a new method to eliminate toxins from our body and help of infusions of herbs from china mostly

They emphasize its properties as much diuretic as antioxidants. The ultimate goal as usually happens in this type of food routine is to clean the body in a totally natural and simple.

    Types of Tea Detox

    Green Tea

It provides substances such as caffeine to stimulate the digestive system, eliminate accumulated lipids, potent antioxidants such as flavonoids, bronchodilators such as theophylline and anti-inflammatories such as tannin that act against specific digestive problems.

    Red tea

This is one of the most treated tea varieties needing in some cases a fermentation process that can last several decades

In the West it has become quite popular because of its low content of caffeine, making it an optimal drink for almost any time of the day and with properties for fat elimination, preventing cholesterol, is purifying, stimulates the digestion of food, benefits the work Hepatic, detoxifies and strengthens the immune system.

    White tea

It is the less processed variety of this type of herbs and therefore, according to several experts in tea, they provide more nutrients than other infusions of the same family and is also healthier

In this sense and because of its high content both in catechins and polyphenols, white tea is able to fight free radicals while decreasing the bad cholesterol level in the blood.

Some of these you have some contraindications for example green tea contains caffeine so that hypertensive and pregnant persons should not consume it. But apart from these disadvantages the Detox Tea is a very good natural alternative to free ourselves of the toxins and fats of our body.

Personally I use green tea and white tea and I have obtained excellent results for my health, energy and well-being.

    Organic cosmetics and Natural cosmetics

Organic cosmetics can be defined as 100% natural products made under strict standards that take care of the environment and skin.

In cosmetics, organic products are those that use raw materials of natural origin such as fats and vegetable extracts, waxes and essential oils grown without chemicals, pesticides or agrochemicals.

The key concept in organic matters is traceability: That is to say that the sowing, the care, the harvesting of the fruit and then the transformation into oil, gel or others and its later elaboration in a laboratory are done according to what the normative.

    Difference between natural and organic

Although often the natural word is used as a synonym for organic, not everything that looks bio, it is. Organic products require certification that they have been grown and processed according to controlled agricultural standards.

Differences between organic cosmetics and conventional cosmetics

When we choosing natural cosmetics it is important to understand that their elaboration, smell, texture and presentation is different from that of conventional products which contain a good dose of synthetic assets.

    Textures

They tend to be more liquid and oily since they do not use silicones (petroleum derivatives) or artificial thickeners.

    Colors

Since it does not contain dyes and additives the products are in the range of brown and yellow greens

    Security

An organic product is not synonymous with hypoallergenic. There are organisms that react to certain trees and plants. The ideal is to know the ingredients and know whether or not we are allergic to them.

    Durability

They do not have the same shelf life as those made with chemical preservatives. They usually last from 6 to 12 months

    Tags

Look for certification seals and read the components.

In my next article I will talk about some of the natural cosmetics that I use, their benefits properties and how to analyze the information contained in the labels to make sure they have the requirements of bio cosmetics.

     Pink Himalayan salt

The pink Himalayan salt is a type of mineral salt from the mountains of Pakistan. It is considered the purest salt and free of contaminants of the world. It is known as “rose gold”. The Himalayan salt contains 84 trace elements such as calcium, iron, magnesium and potassium as opposed to the common salt that only contains 2. Its pink color comes from iron.

The refined table salt is basically sodium chloride, it has been chemically purified. On the other hand, sea salt is a “healthy” alternative that many opt to the detriment of common salt. Yet it is easy to understand that according to the state of pollution of our oceans today this salt is not as healthy as many think.

The Himalayan salt is of organic origin contains all the elements found in our body and mixed with water gives us all its energy. It has curative properties and can improve conditions in case of suffering from some diseases such as irregular heartbeat or arrhythmia, high blood pressure, high blood sugar, low libido, heartburn, sinus congestion, renal failure, decrease Muscle tone and low levels of serotonin and melatonin among others. In addition to balancing the pH of the cells, it prevents the aging of the organism.

This salt is a real super food that besides giving flavor to the meals is beneficial for our health. Unfortunately it is not very easy to get in all countries besides Europe and the United States.
